Before leaving Cala Saona today we all had one last swim in the aquarium and then it was time to continue our journey around the island. It was flat calm today and the sea was amazing.

For miles we could still see the bottom, especially when we passed over a sandy patch.

BT calls his sunglasses ‘Happy Glasses’ as they are polarised and make all the different colours of the sea really come alive...so they were passed round to us all several times today...however, I have to say that today the colours were happy all by themselves!

As we approached the end of the island...where Billy jumped overboard for a snorkel before...BT Ordered his crew overboard again!!! Don’t worry though, he very kindly organised a buoy for us to cling onto as we were pulled through the water watching the underwater world go by!

Abbie and Harriet saw a small stingray and a very unusual looking fish that had very long fins/wings and two smaller fins that were being used to scratch at the sand. We anchored at the headland and all had a fantastic swim in azure blue water.

Es Calo was our resting place tonight.....we went ashore for ice creams and then had yet another swim...this time Harriet was amazed to see an octopus moving across the reef...she was overjoyed!
