It was then time for us all to go our separate ways..the children back to work\ home\ uni, BT to work on Bubbles and Billy to go home for 3 weeks.
BT had a great time on Bubbles, cruising around Ibiza, being a hero by rescuing a man from the sea and working very hard. Billy spent a wonderful 3 weeks catching up with friends and family, sorting the garden and keeping moths at bay!!!!
At the end of his working period BT came home for three days which was just enough time to see some family and friends and to celebrate an important birthday ... our lovely Rosie turning 18!!!
All too soon, Harriet was driving us up to the airport for our return to Barcelona and the next chapter of our travelling.
Woo hoo! Good to see you/ hear from you again! Gorgeous pics - looks like you all made some really special memories. Til next time! Lots of love xx
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you have had an amazing time in Majorca- can't wait to hear what you will be doing next ! We have had our wedding which proved to be an amazing week of fun ,laughter and tears- considering the lovely weather we have been having and how gorgeous our garden looks the weather proved to be a total wash out- it blew a gale and the rain lashed down on us all. It's been beautiful ever since ! Sod's law I think it's called- hey ho. We are off to Portsmouth at the end of this week, going to a memorial service in the cathedral then hopefully I can persuade Steve to go to the Isle of Wight- not holding my breath though...Take care on your travels Diane x
ReplyDeleteFantastic to see family members no one has bothered to let great granny see before . shame! Wonderful pictures, thank you for the trouble you take enabling me to share and enjoy .
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you all having fun in the sun!!
ReplyDeleteWe are leaving for France tomorrow......we were going to be away for 6 weeks but we've just agreed a sale on our house and are moving to a farm so........our next chapter begins....I am soooo excited but we are holidaying first so St Remy here we come........xxxxx
Hello my lovelies, fun to hear of all your adventures, I hope there will be many more to come if the wind blows in the right direction!
ReplyDeleteWe just arrived in Dartmouth and found a very noisy seagull chick on the balcony! It is now in the garden shouting for its parents. It left a lot of messages on the balcony which I'll sort out tomorrow.
We got here without Rosie who sadly departed for the big orchard in the sky chasing rabbits hopefully. Strange without her, our whole daily routine has gone to its for now but I am sure we'll get used to it.
Have fun and take good care of each other. Xxx
Hi Diane...so lovely to hear from you. What a shame about the weather...I was thinking of you all and hoping for a lovely day. It's the one thing we really can't change! We have had issues with the wind...always in the wrong direction and always too strong! Anyway, we have made it as far as Porto Colom in Mallorca...it's one of our favourite places. Hoping to make it to Ibiza next week. I do hope you manage to get away again...I found it quite hard to be at home after a life of travelling and freedom! We will be back in the van again in September heading for Portugal ...perhaps you can persuade Steve to head that way too??? Thanks so much for keeping in touch, it's great to hear from you. Love Yvonne x

ReplyDeleteHi Yvonne & Simon
ReplyDeleteAre you away again this year? We are planning to be away towards the end of April for a couple of months. We are doing Italy again then getting the ferry to Croatia. Bit of Slovenia then back into Italy to go to Venice and the Dolomite's, perhaps a trip into Switzerland after that.
Best wishes
Steve
