Although we are now safely in harbour, the sea continues to push waves in through the port entrance causing all the boats, safely at anchor to roll from side to side all night...so it was not such a good nights sleep last night....I am beginning to wonder though if rocking really does send one to sleep or not...personally it’s beginning to get a little annoying...we just want our bed to be still!!!
So, to alleviate our rocking and rolling we went ashore this morning to stock up with provisions and to catch up with emails, family and friends. Despite being on solid ground however didn’t stop the rocking in our heads,,,we caught ourselves gently swaying at times....and NO....it’s not because of the beer or Bacardi...that comes later!!!
This afternoon, it was Mango Tangos turn for some fun...we headed out of the port, round by the lighthouse and along the cliffs towards Deia......it was amazing. We took masks and snorkels as well as our waterproof camera.....these photos tell a really good story of our time at sea....

We think we must have canoed at least 5/6 miles and seen things that we would never have seen had we been in the dingy. It’s brilliant fun having the canoe and being able to go and explore our surrounding area in detail!

Once back on board it was time for a quick clean up and some tea before canoeing over to have drinks with some new friends. John and Gilly live on board their boat, which is also a Colin Archer design boat...the same as Windekind...and, as BT talks to everyone, we got chatting to them the day we arrived, firstly about our boats and then on to other travelling stories. Anyway, to cut a long story short, we were invited to drinks on their boat ... River Dancer, tonight along with some other of their friends, who also live aboard their boat, Red Snapper, Duncan and Pat.

We had a wonderful evening, getting to know each other, telling many tales of our travels, laughing lots and finally watching an amazing sunset.....and, to top it all, once we were safely back onboard Windekind, we sat on the back deck, listening to live music and watching an awesome firework display (a 10th anniversary celebration for the restaurant) A perfect end to a perfect day!
