Flying into Barcelona and catching the bus into town is now becoming second nature to us! Everything went really smoothly...thankfully BT, being such a frequent traveller to Barcelona, knows the right buses to catch and where from...which was just as well for us as the Taxi drivers had decided to strike today, leaving many newcomers to Barcelona stranded.
We alighted the bus at the Ikea building, found a place for our bags inside and then headed to the cafe for lunch. This time we had a relatively small shopping list...candles, toilet brush, candles, umbrella sunshade and more candles!!
Now we were fully loaded...our luggage from home and the Ikea shopping, so it was time to catch another bus and head for Port Ginesta and our beloved Windekind.
It was a huge relief to finally arrive at the port...we were both exhausted from the past 3 weeks activities...and settle onto Windekind.

Before we left Bluebelle behind at Roderigo’s house we had unloaded the bikes onto the boat and left them covered whilst we were away...this meant that we were able to hop onto them and go shopping for supplies now we were back.
Its amazing how quickly you adjust back in to small space living. Everything has to have a home, every nook and cranny gets filled with something and you can’t have anything with you that isn’t of use.....

We both find this simple living incredibly freeing, we love to make do and have just enough of what we need. Coming home to a house full of stuff after living with so little certainly makes one consider if it is all really necessary.
Meeting Billy and BT was a serendipitous privilege. Nature, the Mediterranean and Windekind were a perfect background for the moments we shared with this adventurous and lovely couple. We enjoyed very much the time we spent together and definitely look forward to meeting again very soon. Until then, big hugs from Alfonso, Fernando, Pilar and Toni
