Unfortunately, even us happy travellers have to  do housework occasionally and today was the day. We needed to fill up with water, so it was time to use up what we had left in the tanks by washing Windekind down with fresh water, doing some clothes washing and much needed hair washing...Billy has had very stiff sea salt hair for days now ...the things we girls put up with!!! We then took Windkind into the port where we filled up with water (free), hung the washing out to dry and set sail.....

Porto Colom is one of our favourite places in Mallorca. It has a huge natural harbour and is a very safe anchorage. The town itself feels much less touristy than many of the other places we have visited...a real community feel. The waterfront is littered with gorgeous restaurants and shops and the marina is full of beautiful catalan boats. This will be a safe place for us for a few days as the weather is about to turn very windy...again! It felt like returning home as we entered the harbour and laid our anchor....!
