An afternoon sail...

Saturday 9th August 2014.

Our vague plan...as much as we have plans these days... was to move further on round the island of Formentera today. We set an alarm...to make sure we were up in time to get ashore and pick up a few things that we needed before heading off. But, we woke to strong winds which changed our plans. We still went ashore for a coffee and to blog and email, but, instead of heading off down the island, we picked up Simon’s friend, Anthony...Billy rowed ashore in Mango Tango to pick him up whilst BT hove-to....and had a really gorgeous sail around the bay for a couple of hours before making our mooring spot and anchoring for the night.

Dinner tonight was an absolute treat...we are getting adventurous these days! For my birthday, my mum bought me a cooks blow torch and tonight we used it to make a warm goats cheese salad with caramelised onions.....I have to say it was so scrumptious...we will definitely be doing that again. I mean, how many people get to eat such gourmet food with a stunning sea view?
