Next stop….San Miguel

Saturday 2nd August 2014

A stormy looking sky and no sun were what greeted us this morning. The wind was freshening and it was time to get a move on...it was 10am after all and Billy (who is definitely NOT a morning person) was still struggling to get out of bed. So, there was nothing for it but to jump overboard and have a snorkel before breakfast...nothing like a cold shock first thing in the morning to wake one up! We climbed the cliff to take some gorgeous photos of Windekind, before retrieving both of the anchors and slowly and cautiously making our way out of the cala.

San Miguel was only a short hop away and we were surprised to find it very busy ... but, we did find a place tucked away from the main melee of boats where we settled in, made lunch, had a snooze in the hammock and then beetled off in Mango Tango for a trip to the shop for ice and ice creams. Just around the corner from where we are anchored we found a fantastic little beach bar...we just HAD to give it a try.....just take a look...isn’t this cool?

This was followed by a paddle across the bay to a cala adjacent to San Miguel...Binirras.

It has been a very relaxed, warm sunny day, and despite the weather forecasts, the wind has not been too bad and we are hoping for a calm day tomorrow.
