Knowing that Toni would leave without us this morning if we weren’t ready (not really) (he’d previously told us that when they have friends and family staying, it gets very complicated to organise everyone, so he just tells them all that the boat is leaving at 11am and if they aren’t on it, they will be left behind for the day) we were up bright and early, breakfast eaten, sandwiches made, swimmers on and all packed for our day by the time he arrived to pick us up. Unbelievably, we arrived in Cabrera about 40 minutes later...remember I told you it took 3 hours in Windekind...it was just fantastic to go somewhere fast for a change!!!

Cabrera did not disappoint yet again. We spent the day snorkelling...BT saw a ginormous Baracuda...”it was ‘this’ long he said extending his arms as wide as he could”...he is known for exaggeration though. However, it was at least a metre long...enough to frighten us both out of the water!... We relaxed in the sun...threw Fernando overboard..at least once, had ice creams and beer at the bar

and then the final treat..a visit to the blue cave. As we approached the cave there was a tourist boat inside...once they had left we ourselves entered in..the water was actually blue, just incredible.

We all jumped over the side...these pictures say it all really.... It was time to make a hasty retreat however, once we realised that jellyfish were also swimming with us...unfortunately, Pilar got stung on her arm.

Before we knew it we were back in Sant Jordi, being delivered once again to Windekind with plans to meet again later....there was a festival taking place in the town and we wanted to go and watch.
All the fresh air caught up with us and we crashed out for a couple of hours...so much so that we felt like death warmed up when we awoke...we had to make a real effort to get up and go out, but we are so glad we did! We woke Toni and Pilar when we arrived at their apartment...sorry guys... and felt bad for doing so, but they hastily got ready and joined us in walking to the festival. We watched from an upstairs cocktail bar, drinking mango daiquiri's, as a display of Minorcan horses paraded through the streets. Another special moment with special people.
