Today was all about recovery…for BT and Billy, but also for Windekind. We folded and put sails away in their rightful places, tidied ropes, cleaned the cabin, ate good food and had a swim.
Remember the day BT was taking an umbrella apart for recycling…well today those parts got used. We have been meaning to make a proper mosquito cover for the forward hatch, but needed some wire to be able to complete it. The umbrella provided the much needed wire, we already had the netting, so BT set to work with a cunning plan for the hatch cover. It meant some wire shaping and some sewing…...

Isn't this just beautiful? It's completely amazing…with colours of purple and silver, blue and gold…and just look at the beautiful shapes, the grading of the holes, the gentle rise and fall of the waves along it's surface…it's all just so perfect![/caption]
