Happy Birthday Billy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILLY!

I woke with a ‘BANG’ this morning. BT was very quietly trying to decorate Windekind before I awoke and was blowing up balloons in the cockpit when one of them burst with the biggest ‘POP’ you have ever heard! I had stuff my face deep into my pillow to cover up the instant fit of giggles this produced....I didn’t want to spoil his surprise...!!!!! I was eventually ‘woken’ by being showered with balloons and exclamations of "Happy Birthday Billy"! The cabin was decorated with a banner which, we hope, said Happy Birthday in Spanish….this was all part of BT's secret shopping yesterday!!

We had healthy breakfast on board…and pressies from BT….a book, pen knife….don't ask….and a colourful windmill….



We came ashore for our second breakfast of the day after risking life and limb, crossing the path of the many ginormous ferries entering the port to enter into a small lake where we left Mango Tango safely tied to a rock …...

…and then back ashore for Sex on the Beach for us both……yes, really, but it's not what you are thinking…!!! Yummy cocktails at the lovely cafe on the lake!! I had a quick chat with Harriet…another special moment in my day...and we were then joined, for a drink, by Simon's friend Anthony and his daughter Immy.

BT and I had a candlelit dinner overlooking the lake, watching the sun come down…and to end it all…a candle to blow out in my dessert.



A birthday that will never be forgotten….on a paradise island with the person I love…what could be better?
